Rivercity Mini Excavating Ltd. is looking for an experienced Chain Link Fence Installer / Skilled Labourer to join our growing team.
If you have experience installing residential, commercial, or industrial chain link fencing and take pride in producing quality work, we'd like to hear from you. This is a full-time, hands-on position with opportunities to work on a variety of projects throughout the Powell River area.
Competitive wages based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Install chain link fencing, gates, and related hardware.
- Measure, lay out, and prepare fence lines.
- Set posts, stretch wire, and complete fence installations to a high standard.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist with excavation and other construction projects as required.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Assist equipment operators when required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work site.
- Follow all company safety procedures and directions from supervisors.
Qualifications
- Previous chain link fencing experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience in construction, excavation, or a related trade is an asset.
- Valid BC Driver's Licence (required).
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and time management skills.
