Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, ensuring a smooth flow of operations in a fast-paced food service environment. Duties
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning.
- Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen cleanup as needed to support the culinary team.
- Follow food handling and safety procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Support the overall cleanliness of the dining area and kitchen environment to promote a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including proper waste disposal and sanitation practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling, and safety standards is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards colleagues and guests.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays if required.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed for cleaning supplies or dishware.
