Job Overview: 3D Animator & Motion Designer (Remote Contract)
We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented 3D Animator to partner with our dynamic team on a remote, contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming brand concepts into stunning, high-quality 3D animations and motion graphics that engage and captivate audiences. As an independent remote contractor, you must possess your own workstation and equipment to seamlessly deliver final products that elevate the brand vision and meet the highest visual standards.
Types of Projects You'll Be Working On
- High-end 3D brand designs and identity packages
- Complex motion graphics and dynamic typography
- Fully animated 3D sequences, from initial concept to final render
Responsibilities
- Design and animate high-quality 3D assets, environments, and visual elements for premium brand campaigns.
- Collaborate remotely with art directors, clients, and team members to understand project goals and visual requirements.
- Execute full 3D pipelines, including modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and compositing.
- Manage multiple animation projects simultaneously while meeting strict production deadlines.
- Incorporate creative feedback to refine animations and elevate the final outputs.
- Maintain highly organized project files and adhere to best practices for 3D rendering and production workflows.
- Stay updated on industry trends, plugins, and emerging technologies in 3D animation and motion design.
Skills & Requirements
- Work Environment: Fully remote; must be self-motivated and comfortable managing time and deliverables independently.
- Equipment Requirement: Must have your own high-performance computer and valid software licenses capable of handling demanding 3D rendering and compositing workflows.
- Strong proficiency in Blender or Cinema 4D.
- Expert-level knowledge of Adobe After Effects for compositing, post-production, and motion graphics.
- Proven experience designing and animating for high-quality, premium brands.
- Solid understanding of animation principles, camera pacing, lighting, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective remote, cross-functional collaboration.
