At Precious Sprouts Childcare Center, we are committed to providing a high-quality childcare program in a safe, nurturing environment that supports learning through play.
We are currently seeking On-Call Early Childhood Educators (Substitutes) to support our Preschool, Kindergarten, and Out of School Care programs. This role is strictly on-call, providing coverage when regular staff are away. Hours are not guaranteed and will be based on program needs.
The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Support play-based programming across multiple age groups
- Maintain supervision and required ratios
- Keep classrooms safe, clean, and well organized
- Work collaboratively with co-educators
- Build positive, respectful relationships with children and families
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Education Diploma (asset)
- Child Development Level 1, 2, or 3 Certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare setting
- Current CPR Level C and First Aid
- Experience working with children with speech delays is an asset
- Ability to provide a current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
