Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking and service. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Prep Cook will work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to support smooth kitchen operations and deliver excellent dining experiences to our guests.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring for various dishes
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling salads
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station and storage areas
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times
- Support cooking staff during busy periods by providing prepped ingredients promptly
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations and safety protocols
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen remains fully equipped for service
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or as a line cook in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Familiarity with food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Experience with meal preparation, cooking techniques, and serving is advantageous
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and basic culinary skills is a plus
- Prior restaurant or food industry experience will help ensure a smooth transition into this role

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
