We are seeking qualified and passionate individuals for the position of Hiring Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or Infant/Toddler Educator (ITE). What You'll Be Doing
- Create and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that help tiny humans grow, explore, and thrive.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children feel supported, confident, and excited to learn.
- Observe, document, and celebrate children's developmental milestones, progress, and unique personalities.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and teammates through open, positive communication.
- Keep classrooms organized, inviting, and compliant with safety standards and licensing regulations.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to plan meaningful activities, share ideas, and create a cohesive learning experience.
- Support children with diverse learning styles, abilities, and developmental needs.
- Help guide daily routines including meals, rest periods, transitions, and all the little moments in between.
- Participate in ongoing professional development because great educators never stop learning.
What We're Looking For
- Strong English communication skills; bilingualism (especially French) is a bonus, but not required.
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting. Classroom experience is preferred, with approximately 6 months to 1 year of local experience being ideal.
- A solid understanding of early childhood education principles and child development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with children, families, and colleagues alike.
- Comfortable using iPads and basic educational technology; general computer proficiency is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage classroom activities, documentation, and daily routines effectively.
- Natural leadership abilities, sound judgment, and great time management skills.
- Strong written communication skills for maintaining accurate records, observations, and progress reports.
- A genuine passion for helping tiny humans build confidence, curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
