A forward-thinking manufacturing organization is seeking a highly skilled, licensed Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex electrical systems across both production machinery and facility equipment. We leverage advanced automated technologies and look for individuals who thrive on innovation and operational excellence.

Core Responsibilities
- Automation & Systems Training: Collaborate and train with equipment vendors, including specialized software training for PLCs, HMIs, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
- Maintenance Programs: Assist in the initial setup and optimization of preventative maintenance (PM) workflows and spare parts inventory systems.
- Documentation & CMMS: Support the development of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), authoring standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and technical documentation.
- Safety & Compliance: Actively champion workplace Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) protocols.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to systematically minimize operational waste and elevate production efficiency.
- Operational Analysis: Partner with leadership to deliver engineering best practices and analyze mechanical uptime versus downtime data.
- Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and remediate equipment breakdowns, electrical faults, and faulty components safely and efficiently.
- Testing & Inspection: Evaluate electrical circuits and components utilizing advanced diagnostic and testing equipment to ensure adherence to relevant electrical codes.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance, direction, and technical leadership to electrical apprentices as required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Licensure: 3 to 5 years of post-apprenticeship experience holding a valid Journeyperson Electrical License (309A or 442A).
- Automation Assets: Direct experience troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs, industrial drives, RSView, and Fanuc robotics is considered a strong asset.
- Mindset: A continuous improvement philosophy with an eagerness to learn and apply Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Proven ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a high-speed, dynamic environment.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize urgent repairs alongside routine maintenance.
Pay: $27.29-$39.50 per hour
