Job Overview
We are seeking a Part-time Arena Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent guest services, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of visitors, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the arena. This position is 20+ hours per week, evenings and weekends (primarily during hockey season, July to March)
Responsibilities
- General custodial and cleaning duties within the arena, including, but not limited to, dressing rooms, common areas, seating, walkways, outdoor sidewalks
- Assisting with ice maintenance, including preparation before and after events.
- Zamboni operation (training may be provided)
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's Licence (required)
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and working in cold environments
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends and flexible hours as required during the season
- Previous arena, custodial, or ice maintenance experience is an asset
- Zamboni experience is an asset, but not required
- Criminal Record check will be required
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
