Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant (HCA) specializing in Complex Care to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex medical needs, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency in medical terminology and computer operation.
Responsibilities
- Provide total personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care.
- Assist with all mobility needs, transfers, repositioning, and use of mobility equipment.
- Support feeding, meal preparation, hydration, and monitor food and fluid intake.
- Observe, document, and report changes in the client's physical, emotional, or cognitive condition.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment related to the client's care needs.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and ensure the client's dignity, comfort, and well-being at all times.
Qualifications
- 2 Years- of experrience.
- Proven experience or training in patient care, nursing, or related healthcare fields is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and acute care procedures
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate customer service
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Prior experience with medication administration is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
- Valid certification or license relevant to healthcare assistance is an asset
- Driving License.

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
