Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and certified Red Seal Motorcycle Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in motorcycle repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining motorcycles to the highest standards of safety and performance.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of motorcycles to identify mechanical issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various motorcycle models, including engine work, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components
- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble motorcycle parts accurately
- Diagnose complex mechanical problems using specialized equipment and technical knowledge
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and services performed
- Provide expert advice to customers regarding maintenance needs and repair options
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of motorcycle systems and components
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience with power tools relevant to motorcycle repair and maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills for explaining technical issues to customers
- Certification as a Red Seal Motorcycle Mechanic or equivalent qualification is required
