Your Role
In this role, you will support municipal wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), water reservoirs, and lake remediation projects across North America in the deployment, monitoring, and servicing of E M FLUIDS technologies. You will also help grow our regional presence by supporting distributor relationships, client opportunities, and technical sales efforts. Acting as the link between local partners and our engineering and R&D teams in Canada, you will oversee installations, training, data collection, and field performance feedback. You will work closely with our VP of Sales in Canada to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and further develop E M Fluids distribution network.
- Lead the technical deployment and commissioning of E M FLUIDS systems at client sites across North America.
- Provide ongoing monitoring, data collection, troubleshooting, and performance reporting for installed devices.
- Train local operators and technicians on the safe and effective use of E M FLUIDS equipment.
- Translate client feedback and operational data into actionable insights for the engineering and R&D teams.
- Assist in customizing solutions to fit local regulatory, environmental, and operational conditions.
- Contribute to internal documentation, including technical manuals and deployment protocols.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, lead client meetings, site audits if needed, and product demonstrations as the technical expert.
- Travel occasionally to support clients in various regions across North America.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Sanitation Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment systems.
- Knowledge of WWTP processes, including biological treatment, sludge management, and effluent quality control, and regulatory landscape in North America.
- Familiarity with industrial instrumentation and control systems used in utility-scale water management in North America.
- Communicative, proactive, and confident presenter with strong articulation and the ability to convey technical content to diverse audiences.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation and deliver training sessions to plant operators and technical teams.
- Strong personal presentation and professional demeanor in client-facing environments.
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across interdisciplinary and multicultural teams.
- High level of accountability, adaptability, and autonomy in fast-paced, remote settings.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to support our clients.
Bonus Skills (preferred but not required)
- Previous experience with pilot-scale or full-scale technology implementation in public or private WWTPs.
