Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all food products
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by assisting with plating and order assembly
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations and safety procedures
- Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive dining experience for guests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly is an asset but must be willing to learn.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Passion for the food industry and eagerness to learn new culinary skills
Pay: $15.77-$17.00 per hour
