Barb’s is a floating seafood restaurant at Fisherman’s Wharf with 42 years of continuous success, locally owned and operated. We pride ourselves on the quality of our food and our desire to provide excellent service.
We are now looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team for the 2026 season! As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role by maintaining the flow of service through timely cleaning of dishes, supporting the team with basic prep tasks and ensuring a clean, organized back-of-house environment. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth (3 members from last year are back in similar roles!).
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes using the dishwasher or by hand
- Following our dishwashing protocols
- Ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing and back-of-house area
- Support kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow (basic food prepping duties involved)
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
- Team player
- Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Proactive, reliable and hardworking
We offer:
- $18.50/h start base salary + generous tips (Last couple of seasons we average at $5.00/h!)
- Complimentary meal allowance of $18 for part timers and $22 for full timers
