Overview
We are seeking a caring and responsible Nanny to provide childcare for our two happy/easygoing children, aged 8 and 13. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of working with children on the Autism Spectrum, and a passion for creating a safe and nurturing environment. Ideally the candidate will have a valid driver's license.
We require someone from Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 4:30pm, however there may be times where childcare is not needed, depending on scheduling throughout the summer.
Responsibilities
- Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Maintain and clean household as needed throughout the day
- Provide attentive and compassionate caregiving
- Start meal prep for dinner as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children is preferred, especially an understanding of Autism.
- Ability to educate, cook, clean, and engage in caregiving tasks
