Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of safety, schematics, and mechanical operations, with the ability to operate a range of tools and equipment safely and efficiently. The Welder will contribute to high-quality production standards in a fast-paced environment, supporting construction and repairs.
Duties
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metal components according to detailed repairs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other equipment to shape and assemble materials
- Operate skid steers, forklifts, and other machinery safely to move heavy or large components within the work area
- Measure dimensions with calipers and other precision tools to ensure parts meet specifications
- Conduct quality inspections of welds and finished products for adherence to safety standards and project requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding (MIG, TIG) with a solid understanding of welding techniques and safety procedures
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly, machining, or construction environments
- Experience with manufacturing processes or construction projects is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship
Pay: $18.14-$25.00 per hour
