Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outside sales efforts and market research
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Conduct negotiations to close deals effectively while aligning with company goals
- Manage accounts by providing tailored solutions, ensuring client needs are met, and upselling where appropriate
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that increase brand awareness and generate leads
- Utilize Salesforce and other CRM tools to track sales activities, pipeline progress, and customer interactions
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to inform strategic planning
- Participate in industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to expand professional contacts
- Support technical sales initiatives by understanding product features and translating them into client benefits
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or business development roles
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Background in business development or account management within technology or marketing sectors preferred
- Excellent analysis skills for assessing market data and customer needs
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
