Mechanical Refurbishment Assembler

We are hiring a Mechanical Refurbishment Assembler to join our growing manufacturing team! The Mechanical Refurbishment Assembler will be responsible for disassembling, inspecting, repairing, reassembling, and testing mechanical equipment and components to restore them to proper working condition. This Mechanical Refurbishment Assembler role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on work in a manufacturing or workshop environment.
MECHANICAL REFURBISHMENT ASSEMBLER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble mechanical equipment and components
- Perform mechanical assembly work using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
- Test refurbished equipment to ensure quality and functionality
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers
- Document repairs, inspections, and parts replacements completed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
MECHANICAL REFURBISHMENT ASSEMBLER QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1–3 years of mechanical assembly, repair, refurbishment, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Manufacturing and workshop setting
- Full-time schedule, typically 40–45 hours per week
- Occasional overtime may be required based on workload
