About the Role
Pets Furever Memorial is looking for a compassionate and reliable Operations Team Member to join our team. This role involves working directly with pets entrusted to our care, supporting families during difficult times, and assisting with the cremation process.
Responsibilities
- Receive and care for pets entering our facility.
- Operate cremation equipment (full training provided).
- Place pets into the cremation chamber with dignity and respect.
- Remove and process cremated remains.
- Carefully package ashes in the urn or memorial product selected by the family.
- Assist clients who bring their pets to our facility.
- Maintain accurate records and identification procedures.
- Keep the facility clean, organized, and professional.
- Follow all safety and operational procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Compassion and empathy for families grieving the loss of a beloved pet.
- Professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Ability to handle emotionally sensitive situations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move pets of varying sizes.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous experience in animal care, veterinary services, funeral services, or cremation services is an asset but not required.
Training
- Full training will be provided on the operation of cremation equipment and company procedures.
