Able Septic is a locally owned, family-run business providing septic services to residential, commercial, and rural customers around Jackfish Lake and surrounding areas. We’re looking for someone reliable who takes pride in honest work and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. What the job looks like:
- Driving a septic vacuum truck to residential, farm, and commercial sites across our service area
- Locating tanks, setting up hoses, pumping out tanks, and safely discharging loads at designated disposal sites
- Performing basic equipment checks and maintenance
- Communicating professionally with customers and team members
- Helping with general tasks as needed - we're a small team
What we need from you:
- Possession of a valid Class 3A or 1A license is considered an asset. Applicants with a valid Class 5 licence are welcome to apply, but should be willing to complete the required licensing exams to obtain their Air Brake Endorsement within 3 months of hire. Details about SGI exam fees, licensing requirements, and wage increases after obtaining the endorsement will be discussed upon hire.
- Willingness to submit a driver's abstract upon request
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the work day
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Reliability, dependability, punctuality, strong work ethic and strong communication skills
- Experience driving septic or vacuum trucks is considered an asset, but will train the right person

Wages, Location, Schedule and Hours:
- Wages: Commensurate with type of license held, experience, and ability
- Location: Able Septic Service – Meota, SK
- Schedule: We hope you join us full-time. However, we can accommodate most schedules; feel free to ask!
- Hours: Hour requirements fluctuate based on the season. In the colder months, expect about an 8-hour work-day, with a bit of flexibility. May to September is our busy season: expect overtime opportunities. Saturday and holiday work may be required.
