Overview
We are seeking a versatile and proactive Homme à tout faire to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be the go-to person for a wide range of maintenance, repair, and operational tasks across our facilities. Your hands-on expertise and leadership will ensure that our environment remains safe, efficient, and well-maintained. Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs across various areas, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
- Supervise and coordinate facilities maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of projects and repairs.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing equipment.
- Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work orders, inspections, and inventory management.
- Conduct welding tasks when required to repair or fabricate parts or structures.
- Lead small teams during maintenance projects, providing guidance and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Support manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment is functioning optimally and downtime is minimized.
- Manage facilities-related emergencies efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards for internal clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, safety standards, and operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in maintenance or facilities management roles.
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding, machinery repair, or fabrication.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in manufacturing environments.
- Experience working with CMMS platforms for maintenance tracking and reporting.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and facilities maintenance best practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a safety-conscious environment.
- Good command of English for communication within diverse teams and documentation purposes.
