Account Executive, Brand
As an Account Executive, Brand at Zeno, you will succeed if you are courageous, media-savvy, resourceful, and highly organized. You’re someone who can drive strong programs, manage details flawlessly, and build productive relationships with clients, partners, and teammates. While this role may support a range of brands and clients across the agency, your core focus will be on Zeno’s travel accounts , helping bring destinations and travel experiences to life through integrated communications, events, and storytelling.
About the Role:
Client & Account Support
- Support day-to-day client communications.
- Communicate proactively with account teams to ensure alignment on timelines, deliverables, and priorities.
- Participate in client calls and meetings, with growing responsibility and comfort presenting updates, ideas, and results.
- Develop a strong understanding of client businesses, including industry landscape, competitors, products, and target audiences—particularly within the travel and tourism space.
Project Management & Team Support
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Support teams with administrative and organizational tasks, including timelines, trackers, agendas, recaps, and status documents.
- Serve as a key point of coordination across internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Assistant Account Executives and interns, including delegating tasks as appropriate.
Media Relations & Storytelling
- Execute media relations programs across consumer, lifestyle, travel, trade, business, and vertical press.
- Research, write, draft, and edit media materials including press releases, fact sheets, pitches, message maps, and briefing documents.
- Craft thoughtful pitch drafts and build and maintain media lists (experience with Cision and/or Muck Rack preferred).
- Represent brands professionally with media, influencers, tourism partners, and industry stakeholders.
Events, Trade Shows & Experiential Support
- Support the planning and execution of large-scale events, press trips, conferences, and experiential activations.
- Represent client brands at trade shows and industry events, engaging with media, agents, and partners on-site.
- Be open to off-site work, including travel, evenings, and occasional weekends as required for events and programs.
Reporting & Measurement
- Compile, track, and report campaign results, including media coverage, event metrics, and performance summaries.
- Maintain coverage trackers and assist with post-campaign reporting and analysis.
Integrated Communications
- Actively participate in brainstorms and contribute creative ideas to client programs and campaigns.
- Support the research, development, and execution of integrated communications plans.
- Assist with social media and digital efforts as part of broader storytelling strategies.
- Understand and apply general principles of marketing, business, and public relations within integrated campaigns.
About You:
- 2+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or a similar agency environment.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with sharp attention to detail.
- Comfortable presenting to clients and engaging professionally in meetings and live environments.
- Collaborative, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Able to think on your feet and adapt quickly as priorities shift.
- Excellent writer with the ability to craft clear, compelling communications.
- Media-savvy, with interest or experience in consumer, lifestyle, and/or travel media.
- Digitally fluent and understands the role of social and digital storytelling in modern PR.
- Interested in travel, culture, and pop culture—and curious about what’s happening in the world.

Pay Range: $45,000 to $55,000 CAD/yr.
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits. In accordance to Ontario's Employment Standards Act (ESA), salary posting ranges can not exceed a $50,000 CAD differential and are required for any role with a maximum salary below $200,000 CAD.
