Small Engine Mechanic – Full-Time

Sugrim Maintenance Company is seeking a reliable and experienced Small Engine Mechanic to join our growing team. We are a busy commercial landscaping and property maintenance company serving the GTA and Southern Ontario. We offer a fully equipped shop, company tools, year-round work opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial landscaping equipment including:
- Zero-turn mowers
- Walk-behind mowers
- Push mowers
- Trimmers and brush cutters
- Backpack blowers
- Chainsaws
- Hedge trimmers
- Small engines and related equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and seasonal equipment servicing
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues
- Maintain service records and repair logs
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
- Assist with fleet and equipment inspections as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience repairing and maintaining small engines and landscaping equipment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Valid G Driver's License preferred
- Experience with commercial landscaping equipment is considered a strong asset
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
