Pharmacy Assistant / Specialty Pharmacy
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Assignment: ASAP – End of July 2026
Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (½ hour unpaid lunch break)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join a busy specialty pharmacy team in Edmonton. This role is primarily focused on prescription labelling and fulfillment, with occasional support required in the warehouse. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent focus, and takes pride in accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately label an average of 30 prescriptions per hour using the Kroll pharmacy software system.
- Maintain a high level of concentration to ensure all tasks are completed with precision.
- Assist in the warehouse with inventory management, receiving, and shipping duties as required.
- Prioritize daily workloads to meet operational deadlines and patient needs.
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and according to standard operating procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proficiency with Kroll software is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of paid Canadian pharmacy experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain focus and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to assist in the warehouse environment when needed.
