Advanced First Aid (Formerly OFA Level 3) with Heavy Construction Duties
Wage Range: As per collective agreement $45.19 to $45.85 Depending on experience
Location: Campbell River, BC
CHC is a wholly owned subsidiary of BC Hydro formed in 1962 that provides the qualified skilled trades workforce for generation facility projects in the Province of
British Columbia named in a collective agreement between CHC and the Allied
Hydro Council of British Columbia. CHC provides the labour resources in accordance with the terms and conditions of the collective agreement and provides other human resources and labour relations functions.
Duties and Qualifications:
- Heavy Construction Labourer Duties with Current Level 3 First Aid
- Long hours in all weather conditions, working with cranes and rigging, working at heights,, fit test ready (clean shaven).
- Must have valid fall arrest certificate and Arial Work Platform Ticket (AWP). Must be physically fit, physically demanding work environment with access via scaffolding, ladders, uneven terrain, heavy tools and working at heights with form work experience
- Additional experience working with jack-lad drill, working with grout, grout pump experience, placing concrete and use of concrete drills/jack-hammers would be an asset but not necessary.
