JOB TITLE – HEAD STATION HEAT TREAT OPERATOR
Machine - Heat Treat – Robot / Gantry head station, manual lift truck
SUMMARY
Through the course of the shift the operator is responsible for the set up and operation of the machine, routine maintenance and inspection of parts to maintain quality standards.
JOB TASK
To heat treat the head of the forge to the correct temperature, time and required quantity. Ensure correct forge and hand are used. Verify forge number before use. The operator reports to the heat treat leadhand and supervisor. Follow work instructions. Perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Other duties may be assigned.

MECHANICAL REASONING
To perform this job successfully an individual must have knowledge of tools, machines and equipment and good manual dexterity and eye/hand co-ordination.
