The Boss is a casual fine dining restaurant located in the heart of Banff. Our menu highlights elevated comfort cuisine with both local and global influences, and we are committed to delivering a polished yet welcoming dining experience. We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Bartender to join our team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, attentive to detail, and capable of maintaining composure and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
The Bartender is responsible for delivering high-quality beverage service while creating a professional, engaging atmosphere at the bar. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to responsible liquor service standards.

Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard of quality and consistency

Provide knowledgeable beverage recommendations and pairings to guests

Maintain an organized, clean, and fully stocked bar area

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking

Ensure compliance with AGLC regulations and responsible alcohol service

Support the service team to ensure efficient and seamless guest experiences

Handle cash and POS transactions accurately

Previous bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale restaurant environment

Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer

Valid ProServe certification (required)

Professional presentation and demeanor

Strong multitasking and organizational skills

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Experience in a fine dining or premium casual setting is considered an asset.
