SNS is a full-service health and safety company, providing experienced security, first aid health and safety professionals. SNS is currently looking for a full-time Operations Supervisor in the Thunder Bay, ON area.
The Operations Supervisor will be assisting in the growth of the Thunder Bay district and will be responsible for supervising operations along with quality assurance/quality control checks for all our sites. Some travel will be required. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has a Can-Do attitude, experience in operations, sales and health and safety is required.
What you will be doing:
· Supervising the day-to-day operations for various sites across your area of operations
· Create a safety-first workplace culture that is consistent with SNS core purpose and values
· Conducting sales and growth for the district. Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings as required. Following bid platforms and networking to develop relationships on an ongoing basis. Communicating services available to prospective clients.
· Responsible for executing our current goals anticipating requirements and managing change
· Responsible for developing and nurturing customer relationships to enhance our future growth
· Our growth is dependent on our client’s satisfaction which will require management and organization of operations, monitoring progress, and interpreting client’s feedback
· This position is required to identify gaps in training and development to ensure our staff are well trained and have the knowledge to execute their jobs safety to ensure customer satisfaction
· Managing and working to a business plan and helping in its development
· Site visits and conducting QA and Site inspections for our work sites
· Review, build & implement policy & procedure to ensure compliance with regular updates and continuous improvement
What we are looking for:
· A minimum of 2 years of operations experience in the field of health, safety, or security
· Diploma in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience is considered an asset
· Experience in managing a business plan and business development experience
· Valid Class G Ontario Driver’s License
· Ability to travel to various locations
