Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed
- Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Experience in food preparation or the food industry is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems for order processing and cash handling
- Basic math skills for calculating order totals and making change accurately
