Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Window Cleaner to join our facilities maintenance team. This role involves cleaning and maintaining the appearance of windows across commercial and residential properties, ensuring a spotless and professional finish. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be capable of heavy lifting, and have experience in custodial or commercial cleaning environments. Duties
- Clean windows of various sizes using hand tools, squeegees, and power tools to achieve streak-free results
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks related to window cleaning, including the use of appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Utilize custodial experience to ensure all glass surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and free of smudges or dirt
- Operate heavy lifting equipment or ladders safely when accessing high or hard-to-reach windows
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned cleaning tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Communicate with clients or team members regarding specific cleaning requirements or safety concerns
- Maintain safety standards by using proper personal protective equipment and following safety protocols during all cleaning activities
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or facilities maintenance is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and window cleaning equipment is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills to address client needs professionally and courteously
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for ladder setup or moving cleaning supplies
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients effectively
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
