Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Owner Operator Appliance Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting appliances safely and efficiently to customer locations, ensuring excellent service and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, and handling heavy loads, with a strong focus on safety and communication.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport appliances to residential or commercial clients.
- Load and unload appliances using appropriate equipment such as hand trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Assist with moving appliances into designated locations within customer premises, utilizing moving techniques and equipment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with customers to coordinate delivery times, address questions, and ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with company policies.
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper lifting techniques and adherence to traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s license (CDL) preferred; a standard driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
- Experience in moving appliances or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with appliance handling is advantageous.
- Good physical condition, capable of standing, lifting, and maneuvering heavy items throughout the day.
