Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Assistant to oversee daily kitchen operations in a dynamic food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining efficient kitchen workflows to support high-quality service.
Duties
- Start daily kitchen operations with early morning shifts starting at 5:00 AM
- Prepare fresh baked goods, pastries, and and specialty items daily
- ensure all baked products are prepared and ready for service each morning
- Prepare hot and cold sandwiches
- Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and food safty
- Keep the kitchen organized, efficient, and well-stocked
- Assist with inventory management and ingredient preparation
- Support smooth day-to-day kitchen operations and workflow
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in baking and kitchen operations
- Strong experience preparing fresh baked goods and pastries daily
- Comfortable working early morning shifts starting at 5:00 AM
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Experience with Palestinian cuisine is an asset
