We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering food in a timely and efficient manner. This is a vital role in our organization as you will be the face of our company to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver customer orders safely, accurately, and on time.
- Verify orders before leaving the store to ensure accuracy.
- Collect cash, debit, and credit card payments when required.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Maintain a clean driving record and follow all traffic laws.
- Keep delivery vehicles clean and in good working condition.
- Assist with food preparation and packaging during non-delivery times.
- Help with cleaning duties, including dishes, floors, and workstations.
- Answer phones and take customer orders when needed.
- Assist with stocking supplies, boxes, and ingredients.
- Communicate with kitchen staff and managers regarding order status and delivery issues.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and report issues to management.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and company policies.
- Support team members during busy periods and help ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, if required
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
