Position Summary:
Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipping Clerk is accountable for invoicing customers for product ordered through the order desk and administratively preparing for delivery and pick-ups. Position codes, invoices, process warehouse releases and stock transfers, balances carrier account, maintains customer account inventory levels and processes export documentation and government forms.
Key Accountabilities:
- Accountable for processing invoices and inter-company orders.
- Accountable for data entry of raw and FFP product, tub and pallet inventories.
- Accountable for maximizing service levels and maintaining relationships with customer base.
- Preparing reports and documentation
Requirement:
- Grade 12 diploma, data entry experience
- Min of 2+ yrs of experience in similar role
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Previous customer service/shipping experience an asset
- Prior experience in export shipping (asset)
- Must be flexible, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail and miltitask
- Good communication skills
