Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Flight Instructor to join our aviation training team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive flight instruction to students, ensuring safety, and fostering a positive learning environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse student needs. Fluency in multiple languages such as French, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, and English is highly desirable to accommodate our international student base. The Flight Instructor will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of pilots while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective flight training sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate skill development.
- Ensure all flights adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of training activities, flight hours, and student performance.
- Supervise and mentor students during ground school and in-flight training exercises.
- Collaborate with administrative staff to schedule lessons and manage training programs efficiently.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
- Utilize GIS technology and other aviation tools to enhance training effectiveness.
- Apply mechanical knowledge when troubleshooting aircraft systems or addressing technical issues during training sessions.
- Lead by example in demonstrating leadership qualities, organizational skills, and safety consciousness.
Pay: $72,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
