Located in a new modern facility. We are a well-established Family Practice Teaching Site working with Western University. We offer comprehensive family medical care to our patient populations. The successful candidate will be supporting our full time family clinicians, resident physicians as well as working in conjunction with the other nursing staff on site. The position is for 4 to 5 days/week.
Job description
The successful R.P.N will:
- Provide direct nursing care and participate in supporting our staff physicians, residents & medical students
- Work seamlessly with our administrative support team and Integrated Health Professionals
- Provide direct nursing care and perform a variety of procedures such as venipuncture, immunizations, injections, and dressings
- Have current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in Primary Care/Family Practice setting preferred
- Preferably have Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience - ACCURO an asset
- Demonstrate leadership and effective interpersonal skills
- Work in a fast-paced team environment
- Have an ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Enjoy an environment that fosters continual learning
