Apprentice Automotive Technician / Mechanical Repairer (2nd or 3rd Year)
We are looking for a motivated and reliable 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to continue developing your skills while working alongside experienced licensed technicians in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of mechanical systems and components.
- Assist licensed technicians with vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Perform brake inspections and brake service.
- Complete preventative maintenance services.
- Inspect, test, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical systems and components.
- Test and adjust components to manufacturer specifications.
- Repair or replace mechanical units and components as required.
- Complete work orders and service reports documenting inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently diagnose and resolve vehicle issues.
Qualifications
- Registered as a 2nd or 3rd Year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
- A valid driver's licence is considered an asset.
- Previous automotive repair experience is an asset.
