Job description
ABOUT:
Certified freelance teachers of all backgrounds and specializations needed to teach child performers on TV/Film production in the Halifax / Nova Scotia area.
Minors' grade levels can range from primary school to high school, so teachers comfortable with all grade levels and subject capability are welcome to apply. (Certification is only necessary in one grade level or subject area.) Coursework is typically provided by the student's regular school.
Anticipated dates June 2026 to late September 2026.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid and current teacher certification from a Canadian province
- Full-day availability (Please note: Teacher report times CAN and WILL change on a daily basis, therefore complete daytime availability into evening hours is essential)
- Previous teaching and/or tutoring experience
- Willingness to self-report to various locations in/around the Nova Scotia / Halifax area
Note: Teachers without regular full-day availability during the school year need not apply.
