Thrive Therapy is seeking a Registered Psychologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team.
This position is ideal for an experienced psychologist who enjoys working independently while collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic, client centered care. Our team includes occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, and counsellors who work together to support children, youth, adults, and families.
We are seeking a psychologist declared in Child and/or Youth Psychology to support clients from 1 to 18 years of age. Flexible scheduling is available, with hours tailored to your availability.
Psychologists declared in Adult Psychology are also encouraged to apply to support our growing adult client population.

Requirements:
- Master's or Doctorate in Psychology from an accredited University.
- Registration with the Nova Scotia Regulator of Psychology (NSRP). The Psychologist must be registered, as candidate registrants cannot own / operate a solo practice.
- Declared in the area of Children and/or Youth Psychology.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Legal ability to work in Canada.
- Criminal background check and vulnerable sector check required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and interventions for children and youth, ensuring a focus on patient care and well-being.
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare providers to support child development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with medical terminology and standards.
- Stay current with developments in child and adolescent psychology and integrate best practices into clinical care.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development.
- Ability to work independently and complete assessments and reports in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with the client, family, and their team.
