Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Installation Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing windows across various residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities
- Measure window openings accurately using blueprint reading and schematics to ensure proper fitment.
- Prepare work sites by removing old windows, drywall, or other obstructions using hand tools and construction techniques.
- Install new windows with precision, ensuring proper sealing with caulking to prevent leaks and drafts.
- Use carpentry skills to frame window openings and make necessary adjustments for a seamless fit.
- Apply drywall finishing techniques around window frames for a polished appearance.
- Perform restoration work as needed, including painting or touch-ups to match existing surfaces.
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of tools such as welding equipment or plumbing tools if required for specific projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or window installation preferred.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for precise installation tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of drywall installation, caulking techniques, and general restoration processes.
- Familiarity with construction painting, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, or welding is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills to adapt to different project requirements.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
