Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Sales Agronomist to join our team. This role involves working closely with clients in the food industry to provide expert advice on crop production, product development, and agricultural solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and analysis skills, along with laboratory experience and a passion for advancing agricultural practices. Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients within the food industry, understanding their specific agricultural needs.
- Conduct research on crop varieties, soil health, and pest management to recommend optimal solutions.
- Collect and analyze data related to crop performance, soil conditions, and product efficacy to inform recommendations.
- Assist in product development initiatives by providing insights based on field research and laboratory findings.
- Perform laboratory experiments and tests to evaluate new products or agricultural techniques.
- Present findings and recommendations to clients through reports, presentations, or meetings.
- Collaborate with internal teams on developing new products or improving existing offerings based on research outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory changes affecting the food production sector.
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in the food industry or agricultural sciences is highly desirable.
- Laboratory experience related to plant science, soil testing, or product development is preferred.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets accurately.
- Experience in data collection methods and research techniques relevant to agriculture or food production.
- Excellent analysis skills to evaluate research results and translate findings into practical solutions.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to clients and internal teams.
- A proactive attitude with a passion for innovation in agriculture and food sciences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Food Science, Agriculture, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
