Shipping and Receiving Associate – Forklift Operator
Location: Cambridge, ON
Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Pivotal Staffing Solutions is hiring an experienced Shipping and Receiving Associate for a leading food manufacturing facility in Cambridge. We are seeking reliable candidates with hands-on experience operating Raymond Reach and Counterbalance forklifts. This is a full-time opportunity in a fast-paced warehouse environment with long-term potential.
Shift Schedule
Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Afternoon Shift: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
Night Shift: 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM
Responsibilities
- Receive, ship, and stage products accurately and efficiently.
- Safely operate Raymond Reach and Counterbalance forklifts.
- Load, unload, move, and store materials within the warehouse.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
- Maintain inventory records and organize warehouse storage areas.
- Prepare materials for production and support daily warehouse operations.
- Keep the shipping and receiving area clean and follow all workplace safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification with Raymond Reach and Counterbalance experience.
- Minimum 1 year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience.
- Experience in a food manufacturing or GMP environment is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- Good English communication and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
