We are seeking an experienced full-time / part-time Flood Technician to join the Resolve Restoration Team.

· Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution
· Provide restoration services for structures damaged by fire, water, and weather
· Moisture map
· Site dimension drawing
· Complete field assessments and complete claim forms
· Perform water extraction, carpet/floor drying, mold and mildew remediation, deodorization/decontamination, select demolition and debris removal
· Pack, clean and store salvageable belongings and contents
· Demolish or remove water damaged drywall, flooring, insulation and other building materials
· Assist Project Manager with repair estimates
· Be aware of all aspects of scope of work
· Deliver impeccable customer service to all Customers and Clients
· Effectively communicate with property owners/managers/tenants, subcontractors, etc.
· Develop trusted relationships with our clients (property managers, strata council members, inspectors, etc.)
· Liaise with Management to maintain project schedule, work efficiency, target deadlines and target budgets
· Review project implementation and gather data on project execution
· Coordinate with clients and other project leads following project execution
· As necessary resolve disputes and complaints cheerfully and in a professional manner
· Minimum of 2 years restoration experience
· Experience working in flood / insurance restoration
· Ability to lift to 50 pounds
· Knowledge of construction processes and procedures
· Knowledge of the BC Building Code
· Expertise with hand tools
· Experience with Structural drying – equipment placement and psychrometry
· Understanding of building systems, construction practices, processes and techniques
· Knowledge of WorkSafe BC Regulations
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
· Strong customer service skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Fluent in English, verbally and in writing
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
· Ability and desire to work collaboratively to ensure successful project execution
· Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively
· Valid BC Drivers License with clean abstract required
· IICRC Certifications an asset
· Management or Supervisor experience required

· Your time will be spent on job sites throughout the Lower Mainland and in the office
· The incumbent will work regular business hours. However, the nature of this role will require after-hours call availability, weekend call availability and required on-call rotations
· This is a field level position that requires jobsite to jobsite travel, hands on select demolition, equipment install / removal, site paperwork, meeting with trades and providing guidance to other technicians. You will work closely with the project managers and take direction from them.
