We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as Product Coordinator for our Ayr, Ontario location.
HOURS: A Shift: Monday to Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; Friday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
REPORTS TO: Sales Director - North America
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create commercial quotes for new and existing customers utilizing the internal cost breakdown of processes and materials
- Develop and update cost matrix and complete detailed quote summaries for quote packages
- Ensure customer quotes are standardized and meet customer needs
- Provide customer service and related correspondence for all commercial issues
- Develop, update, and maintain supplier quote lists and supplier’s manual
- Attend Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) meetings to track invoicing requirements and current program status
- Participate in Veritas Canada’s health, safety and environmental management systems (ISO 14001) and compliance obligations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education in business, supply chain or related field
- Superior communication, both written and verbal, is essential to this position
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel
- Sound judgement, planning and organizational skills required to tackle multiple projects
- Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy/consistency of quotation packages
- Sense of urgency and understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines
- Experience working with an ERP system as well as engineering drawings is an asset
- Capable of working in a high-pressure environment
