Fork + Farm Catered Events has been slinging scratch-made, farm-to-table food across southern Alberta for 14+ years — weddings, corporate events, the works. We're locally sourced, from-scratch, no-shortcuts food people, and we're looking for our next Catering & Event Coordinator to help us keep booking the good stuff.
This isn't a "sit behind a desk and wait for the phone to ring" job. You're part hype-person, part detail-obsessed planner, and part the reason a bride cries happy tears at her reception because everything just... worked.
What you'll actually be doing
- Chasing the sale — following up on leads, wooing corporate clients and wedding planners, and turning "just looking" into "sign here."
- Making it happen — once it's booked, you own it: menus, timelines, staffing, vendors, all the moving pieces.
- Building killer proposals — custom menus and quotes that make people go "yes, obviously, take my money."
- Being our people-person — tastings, site visits, networking events. You're the face people remember.
- Keeping us organized — CRM, follow-ups, nothing falling through the cracks on your watch.
You might be our person if...
- You've got 2+ years in sales, hospitality, events, or catering (bonus points if it's catering/events, but we care more about vibe than resume boxes).
- You read a room before anyone opens their mouth.
- You're not afraid to ask for the booking — closing deals gives you a little thrill.
- You're the organized friend group member who somehow keeps 12 plans straight in your head.
- You can write an email that doesn't sound like a robot wrote it.
- You're cool with some evenings/weekends around events — we'll always be upfront about what that looks like.
