Job Overview
The Technical Architect II is a future-focused strategic technology leader responsible for shaping and advancing the client's digital ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of technology, digital experience, and business strategy, ensuring web and digital platforms evolve into a modern, scalable, secure, and omnichannel environment. The position partners closely with Marketing, Public Affairs, and Technology stakeholders to define and execute the digital roadmap, leveraging innovative tools, platforms, analytics, and emerging technologies to enhance customer engagement and business outcomes. The role provides technical leadership for web technologies, content management systems, digital experience platforms, social media integrations, and emerging digital channels. It also ensures governance, standards, security, and best practices are consistently applied across all digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the strategic digital roadmap in partnership with Marketing, Public Affairs, and Technology stakeholders.

Lead the evolution of the organization's digital platforms, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and alignment with business objectives.

Drive stronger alignment between technology, marketing, and communications teams to enhance digital presence, customer engagement, and measurable business outcomes.

Support and optimize modern Content Management Systems (CMS), including Sitecore XM Cloud and related digital experience capabilities.

Lead initiatives involving Digital Asset Management (DAM), personalization, customer journey mapping, and omnichannel content delivery.

Enable and support digital platforms that extend beyond traditional websites, including mobile applications, social media channels, APIs, and emerging digital technologies.

Develop, monitor, and report on key digital performance indicators, customer journeys, campaign effectiveness, and user engagement metrics.

Deliver actionable analytics, insights, and strategic recommendations through dashboards, reporting tools, and performance assessments.

Establish and maintain a unified content strategy that promotes centralized content management and consistent content reuse across multiple channels.

Evaluate, recommend, and implement emerging technologies, tools, and digital capabilities that support organizational growth and digital maturity.

Support the exploration and implementation of AI-enabled digital experiences, including conversational AI solutions and intelligent content delivery platforms.

Ensure AI, automation, personalization, and digital transformation initiatives are secure, properly governed, and aligned with organizational policies and business objectives.

Design and support modern digital architectures utilizing API-first, headless, and omnichannel delivery models.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital platforms with enterprise systems and cloud-based services.

Ensure compliance with established technology standards, policies, governance frameworks, accessibility requirements, and security best practices.

Provide technical leadership, guidance, and recommendations to stakeholders regarding digital strategy, platform capabilities, and future-state architecture.

Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, digital experience innovations, and social media best practices to continuously improve digital capabilities.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Digital Technologies, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in web technologies, digital platforms, enterprise architecture, or digital experience solutions.

Strong experience with modern Content Management Systems, including Sitecore XM Cloud and related digital experience technologies.

Deep understanding of Digital Asset Management (DAM), personalization platforms, customer journey optimization, and omnichannel content delivery.

Experience supporting and evolving enterprise digital platforms across web, mobile, social media, APIs, and emerging digital channels.

Strong knowledge of web technologies, digital architecture principles, integration frameworks, and cloud-based platforms.

Experience with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and related digital infrastructure technologies.

Understanding of security principles, governance frameworks, compliance requirements, and digital platform best practices.

Experience designing and supporting API-first, headless, and omnichannel architecture models.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations.

Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Proven ability to influence strategic decisions and develop technology roadmaps that support business goals.
