Weleschuk Farms LTD, RR #4 Tofield, Alberta is looking for an individual to work with us on our family farm full-time, which is located near Tofield, Alberta.
Duties include:
-maintenance of all equipment, everything from oil changes, service, to parts repair.
-operate various heavy equipment, such as John Deere tractors, combines, sprayer, swather, bulldozer, excavator utilizing gps and navigating various touchscreens to monitor equipment.
-work long hours during peak season times (spring and fall), also be willing to work weekends
-yard maintenance, such as lawn cutting, tree planting -understand and/or learn the facets of grain production and its care
-laborious tasks such as shovel grain, pick rocks, lifting heavy equipment parts
-working in dusty/dirty conditions sometimes
-during the winter we usually haul grain, do some equipment repair, and restore muscle cars.
Things you must be before applying to this job: -
-must have at least 5 years experience in a farm setting or mechanically inclined type of setting
-knowledge of farm equipment and their gps systems
-must have a good working knowledge of English
-must be non-smoking
-must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (100lbs), work long hours for many days.
Salary is completely based off performance. willing to train the right person if they missing some aspects, provided the work ethic is there. Apply with resume attached.
