Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked and appealing through effective merchandising
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Support inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and product rotation to keep the sales floor inviting and efficient
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and merchandising standards is advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting merchandise, and organizing displays
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain a tidy sales area
