With the tremendous growth in our customer base and production demands, we are now on the lookout for the next “conductor” of our manufacturing orchestra. As our new Operations Manager, you will orchestrate a symphony of materials, shipments, machines, and a driven production team to bring the company into the next phase of its scaling manufacturing operations.
Working in Edmonton and reporting to our CGOO and in close partnership with our CEO, you will be responsible for crafting precision schedules and optimizing workflows while staying closely connected to the day-to-day realities of the business.

Your Role in Our Success
- Help manage the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility, including production scheduling, material planning, and equipment maintenance (in collaboration with the production team).
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure products meet regulatory and customer requirements (in collaboration with QA/QC team).
- Work with the Supply Chain & Operations Coordinator to manage inventory levels, procurement, fulfilment, and logistics, including cross-border logistics, customs clearance, tariff compliance, and tax exemption requirements, and all associated paperwork.
- Oversee a team of production support personnel, providing leadership, direction, and performance management.
- High-volume communication coordination with suppliers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve daily operational stuckpoints.
- Provide recommendations to senior leadership on manufacturing strategy/SOPs to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Support the overall business strategy by aligning operations with the company's goals and objectives
- Help develop and track operational budgets, identifying cost savings and productivity initiatives
What Makes You a Great Fit?
- Hands-on experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of operational processes.
- Proven track record of overseeing operations teams in a regulated industry.
- High attention to detail (i.e., labelling of finished products, adding components, etc.
- Able to manage time effectively, meet tight deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
- Adaptable and quick to respond to changing schedules and production demands.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Your Technical Skills & Background
- Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle
- 3+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or any closely related technical fields.
- Solid background in inventory management, production planning, and supply chain optimization.
- Preferred: Background in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Preferred: Knowledge of cGMP, ISO, and other relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Preferred: Working knowledge of quality control systems and regulatory compliance.

Remuneration of CAD $65,000 – $72,000 will be commensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
