Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance person to join our team in the seafood processing industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe processing of food products, particularly within the seafood sector. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality production practices. This is a full-time permanent position.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Report to QA Supervisor
- Understand HACCP/QMP/SQF and plant SOPs
- Develop new SOP as needed
- Ensure SOPs are being properly documented and followed
- Working production line as time permits
- Weight Handling: up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Certifications: HACCP, QMP, SQF
Prior plant experience is an asset but NOT necessary.
Language: Basic English level for communication

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
