Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and dedicated carpenters to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction, including framing, concrete forming, sheet metal and metal bending, and the operation of heavy equipment and power tools. This role involves performing diverse construction tasks with precision and safety, contributing to high-quality project completion. Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction projects accurately.
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks to ensure durable and precise concrete work.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Execute woodworking tasks related to framing, cabinetry, or other structural components.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required to move materials or equipment on-site.
- Utilize welding techniques when necessary to join metal components or reinforce structures.
- Read and interpret schematics for various construction applications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with skills in blueprint reading, concrete forming, restoration, siding, carpentry, and welding.
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and perform woodworking tasks confidently.
- Strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings relevant to construction projects.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work shifts.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and general construction practices.
- Prior experience with concrete finishing is preferred but not mandatory.
- Construction experience across various trades is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
